From time to time we'll need you to sign off on various documents as a part of providing our services to you. When you need to sign something we'll try to avoid sending you stacks of paper to physically sign, both to save some trees and to avoid you having to find somewhere to post them back to us.

Instread, most things you sign with Kearney Group can be electronically signed directly in Konsole (while they are limited in number, unfortunately there are still a few providers and institutions that won't accept electronic signatures 😞).

How to sign

When a set of documents requires your signature it will show on your dashboard's to-do list. To sign it, simply click on the item and then click the "Sign Documents" button. You will be directed to DocuSign (our eSignature provider) where you will be walked through signing the document.

If it is your first time signing a document in Konsole, you'll be asked to set up your electronic signature. We'd recommend doing this on a mobile device if possible since you'll have much better control when signing via a touch screen.

Don't worry if your electronic signature doesn't look exactly like your handwritten signature - it's not the appearance of your electronic signature that makes it binding, and the metadata that sits behind the signature can be used to verify it.

What happens after you sign

Once you've electronically signed off on the document our team (and anyone else that needs to sign) will automatically be notified - there's nothing else for you to do!
