Like most online systems, when you log into Konsole, we identify who you are based on the email address you use to log in. This makes it easier to log in since you're not required to remember yet another username, but it also means that each person's account requires a unique email address.

Because Konsole also allows you to log in with just your mobile phone number, in order to know who is logging in, that phone number can only be attached to a single account as well.

While these requirements mean each person in your household will need to link their Konsole account to a seperate email address / mobile phone number, it also helps keep your account secure, and is a compliance requirement when electronically signing documents through Konsole's eSignature provider DocuSign.

What if I don't have my own email address?

We understand that some people don't have their own personal email address, and in that case we recommend setting up a free email account with a provider like Gmail or Outlook. Accounts take just a few minutes to set up and are totally free.

Once your new email account is set up, you'll use it to log in to Konsole, but your Konsole account can be configured to send email notifications to a different email address should you prefer. For those families that share a single email address, this is a great way to make sure Konsole notifications all go to one place even when members of the household have their own unique accounts.

Changing my notification settings

To change the email address and mobile number that your account uses for notifications, open the Account Details section of Konsole, and choose the Reminders & notifications category. In the section titled Notification and reminder details change the emaill address and/or mobile number to the one that you would like your notifications sent to.

Please note, you will still be required to log in using your main email address / mobile number and for security reasons, notifications about the security of your account will still be sent to your main email address / mobile number, including:

  • password reset requests

  • mobile one-time-passwords (OTP)

All other notifications will instead be sent to the email address / mobile number you have provided here.
